The WoodShop SWFL LLC, formerly Fitzgerald Construction Services LLC, is owned and operated by the same owners. We changed our name to add the offerings of Hand Crafter, custom Shop Built Furniture, cabinetry, built ins and various wood products.

Meet The Owner
The WoodShop SWFL LLC is owned and operated by Richard Fitzgerald. Richard is originally from Massachusetts where he graduated with a degree from Fitchburg State College in Industrial Arts, specializing in Architectural drawing, structural building and woodworking. Richard started Fitzgerald Construction Services in 1981 offering custom building of new homes, additions, and all types of remodeling services. Richard and his family relocated to Fort Myers Florida in 1993. He worked for WCI Communities for a few years as Production Manager, until he reopened Fitzgerald Construction Services. Now in Florida, The WoodShop SWFL LLC continues to offer the same services, with the same dedication and devotion to the Home Building and Remodeling Industry, plus the addition of Fine Furniture, Cabinetry and Built ins.

We offer Free on-site Consultations. This is where you ask all your questions and we come up with a preliminary design for your project so we can start pricing it.
Preconstruction Design
We get to know you and learn how you plan on using your new space through a series of meetings and communication, so we can design the space to meet your every need and want
Design and Construction Estimate
Once we have your preliminary design, we go work pricing out all the parts and pieces, then we list it all in a break down on the construction Proposal.
The Finishing
Touches
Most of the final finishes will need to be selected by you, so to come up with a estimate of the final costs, we include allowances for these items. Then when you make your final selections we will adjust the costs of each item accordingly.
